1.<\/strong>Project Background<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TWEDO is implementing the Access to Justice, awarded by Search for Common Ground \u201cSFCG\u201d\/ EUROPEAN<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNION EEU057 under prime agreement No (ACA\/2020\/418-494). The goal of the Project titled – Increasing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women\u2019s and Children\u2019s Access to Justice (IWCAJ) Project is to Improve Access to Justice Changing attitudes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and perceptions of communities towards women and children’s rights, through public awareness ( Local Media,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Performance of Theater shows, and awareness raising to women men boys and girls ) and capacitating \/creation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of community structures to work with the individual in resolving human rights violation cases locally considering<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the Islamic rules and Jirgas for reduction of GBV against women and children, facilitate victims access justice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

by referring to provide legal aid assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Theory of Change:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting the community members (particularly women and children) to be aware of their legal<\/p>\n\n\n\n

rights and practice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enhanced capacity of the community-based structures to fight against the unnecessity of social<\/p>\n\n\n\n

stigma attached to the use of a formal justice system (particularly by women and children)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scope of work:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

TWEDO in coordination and support of the SFCG will organize the A2J Project To Improve Access to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Justice Change attitudes and perceptions of communities towards the promotion and protection of women’s<\/p>\n\n\n\n

rights, and through enhancement of community knowledge, attitudes, and behavioral changes a means to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

support GBV reduction – at the community level in Lghman province aimed to facilitate communication<\/p>\n\n\n\n

among relevant stakeholders and establish and capacitated community-based Support group to support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objective -1- To<\/strong>improve community understanding and respect for women’s and child rights<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

through awareness raising according to the Islamic Rules<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activity 1.1<\/strong>: Conducting community awareness-raising session on Women and child rights in the target<\/p>\n\n\n\n

community according to the Islamic rules and Universal Islamic Declaration of Human Rights, adopted by the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Islamic Council of Europe on 19 September 1981\/21 Dhul Qaidah 1401, this will be done through the religious<\/p>\n\n\n\n

scholars and our network in the target community in close coordination with the project team in SFGC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activity 1.2<\/strong>: Development and Broadcasting of Radio Messages on women’s rights especially on women’s Social<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and economic rights and child rights according to Quranic verses and Hadith. To shift attuited towards the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

promotion and protection of women, the project will develop 7 radio messages and leaflets on women\u2019s Rights<\/p>\n\n\n\n

that will be disseminated during project implementation with project beneficiaries, stakeholders, and community<\/p>\n\n\n\n

people for putting a legacy in the eyes to stand for women’s rights protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activity 1.3:<\/strong> Performance of the 3 theater shows in the target community on women and child rights violations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and their impact on family life, how Islam previses that conduct, that will directly contribute to community<\/p>\n\n\n\n

attitudes shits, because direct observation of such situation will get into participant’s attention and when they are<\/p>\n\n\n\n

alone, they can remember and thin how they behave with their women family member and children,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objective 2: To strengthen CBOs to carry out their “watchdog function “identifying issues of<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women and child rights violations and facilitating their access to justice<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activity 1. 2:<\/strong> Mapping of the current CDC, religious leaders and scholars, Human rights defenders, and youth<\/p>\n\n\n\n

groups, to reform the Community Based Support Committee (CBSC) and support them in developing a TOR for<\/p>\n\n\n\n

their performance accordingly. the project team will technically support them on how to facilitate the project<\/p>\n\n\n\n

activities at the community level once the project completed towards sustainability of the action<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activity 2.2<\/strong>: An orientation session on project opening day will be conducted for all stakeholders and community<\/p>\n\n\n\n

members including the CBOs ( Men and Women ) and provide them with specific training on Women and Child<\/p>\n\n\n\n

rights, conflict resolution, and case management to equip them with rights skills and knowledge to continue the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

project goals through the provision of proper and practical support and resolve community-based GBV cases<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and Conflicts according to the Islamic rules to facilitate a women and children access to justice and to reduce<\/p>\n\n\n\n

violence and miss conduct that women and children are struggling toward the creation of an enabling and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

peaceful and justice culture among families and community in future<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3-<\/strong>Project Activities<\/strong>and<\/strong>deliverables (inception Phase)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Project team members board, in Dec-2022, based on TWEDO HR requirements policy, we had an active<\/p>\n\n\n\n

team member in programs finance, and field level staff in Laghman province, so shifted in accordance<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to the available position under this project persons for implementation of the project. Finance Officer,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project Manager, trainers.\u2022 Project implementation, loge frame, and M& E, plan developed, in this section, by the powerful co-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

workers of TWEDO, during the 11 days of orientation sessions\/workshops conducted by the SFCG team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

in different areas (program – HR \u2013 Safeguarding- Financial Management \u2013 Human rights women\u2019s<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rights \u2013 Communication, Monitoring, and evaluation \u2013 during Dec- Jan-2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 These plans were communicated with the SFCG project team reviewed and finalized and applied<\/p>\n\n\n\n

accordingly. Strong but prolonged processes were followed for readjustment and registration of the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

project in the Okine system of the Ministry of Economy and finally, in Aug 2023 the project officially<\/p>\n\n\n\n

registered with ( MoE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Development of training manuals on women and child rights in close coordination with SCFG technical<\/p>\n\n\n\n

team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Mapping of individual Human rights and women\u2019s rights activists for the establishment of a community-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
